Mabel's Cafe - Canyon City

My experience in this café was wonderful! The food was amazing (the lavender limonade was above all exquisite) and the owner was very friendly and speechful. The only complaints I would have were that her card reader didn't work, so we were asked to pay for our meal later. Fortunately, we live near the city, so it wasn't a big problem, but it was uncomfortable anyway. Her hours are also quite uncomfortable. It seems every time we feel like they are closed. Sunday would probably be their popular day if they stayed open, and they have meals on their menu that could definitely be torn by about 18 pm. The food is to die, but the restaurant side (vs the bakery side) needs a little work in the decor area. It reminded me more of a vintage Burger joint instead of its unique and Hipster Vibe that beats its menu. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back.
