Mickey's Place - Canyon

Honestly, the food presentation is not appetizing. My lasagna and my friend's salmon salad were mediocre in taste. We liked the festive atmosphere and the thought of people in Canyon having an enjoyable evening out. The restaurant is a nice thing for Canyon. Perhaps you could seek guidance from other quality chefs and restaurants as this is an important establishment in Canyon.

Look its okay if it were half its price. It had a good service staff, and were very accomodating. However the prices at this place are far too high, chicken alfredo was more or less bland. It was just extremely expensive for no real reward. Hence why I say half the price, they would be an amazing deal, or double the food quality and go into a fine dinning experience. Just pick one.

My husband and I drove to Canyon last night to eat at Mickey's Place. Our second time. My husband had a ribeye and I ordered prime rib. The waitress brought our meal. I did not receive the normal horseradish or au jus with the dinner when the meal came out. I first took a bite of the Parmesan risotto and it was not edible it had so much parmesan, looking at my Prime Rib I could tell it was not freshly made. It was so soaked in a smoke flavoring that was over powering but the real kicker was I cut in to it and it was cold like it was just taken out of the refrigerator. I let the waitress know and she said she would let the manager know. The manager came to the table to let me know they were fixing me a complete new Prime Rib. By the time I got my dinner the husband was done eating his Ribeye, but it was not that warm when he got it. It was probably sitting there to awhile to be served. For the price we paid for a nice dinner we were so disappointed and will not go back. $70 dollars was too much for the meal were were served. We took care of our sweet waitress because she did her part.

Food was not worth the price, had the chicken carbonara. Chicken was over cooked and dry. Waitress was non-existent.They did comp one meal.Three of us ate there, none really enjoyed the meal.

We had a very enjoyable meal at Mickey’s tonight. A celebration ? of engagement. Our server Mason was fabulous with this group of about 20. Kept it drinks filled. The food was right on point. This was the first time for most of our party and they were very excited and pleased with food and service. Thank you
