The Crush House At Gervasi Vineyard

Did they get a new chef at the crush house. Ate there twice in the last 4 weeks. Food definitely didn’t taste the same. Sub par now. It used to be good. I always get the gnocchi it was just ok. Used to be excellent. Bring back the old chef .Food: 3/5

We (a group of 10) booked the private Tower room. We absolutely LOVED it. It was unbelievably elegant and the food delectable. I cannot sings the praises high enough. We have never had pork so juicy and drinks so tasty as here. Every single staff member was smiling and very courteous to us, the entire time. It made the special birthday for my sister so amazing.

Visited here night before July 4th and went in knowing it was going to be busy since no other restaurant on the grounds was open. We’ve gone to Gervasi as a family and stayed at/dined in at several of their restaurants and the casa and villas. We know we like their food and their atmosphere so we were in for a wait. From the start the host didn’t give us a time frame of how long it would be to get sat. Had we known it was going to be an hour and half wait we would’ve gone somewhere else but kept getting told we were next. As soon as we sat down we ordered drinks and apps and as soon as our server came back with drinks we ordered our entrees an hour after ordering still hadn’t received our dinner. After being here for about 3 hours we asked to just box up our entrees and we’d go home. I was visiting with my boyfriend from out of town to see our family for the first time in over a year and we’re excited to show him the vineyard but was extremely disappointed. I’m almost embarrassed we took him there after hyping it up so much. The manager came over and comped some of the bill and explained there was an event, but if you cannot handle an event and serving the public then you shouldn’t be open. Most likely won’t be back anytime soon but appreciate the attempt at making it right. Food got 1 star due to not really be able to eat anything there.

We hosted a milestone birthday lunch for my sister. Everything was terrific! The service, the food and the ambiance were all top notch. We loved it! Thank you for providing my sister with such a wonderful experience â

I loved the food and atmosphere. Our waiter was great. I did order the soup and salad first. Great start to my dinner. Then I ordered the turkey wrap. Id say it gets a 10 for presentation but it was very salty. The manager came over very quickly and said they would prepare something else. So I went with the burger. Oh my land was that burger good!! So if you’re thinking chips or coleslaw, id skip those. But go for the blondie dessert. It was fabulous. I had the best meal and experience. Highly recommend!
