Lai Thai - Canton

This is everything I’ve been looking for in a Thai restaurant. I have been looking for good pad Thai and this is the best place I’ve found near Ann Arbor. I will definitely be returning! The curry puffs were also delicious, unfortunately they were eaten before a picture could be taken!!

Great Thai food, kind people! Our go to thai restaurant for years and one of the only places we carry out from during the pandemic. I really appreciate that they have continued to be carry out/delivery only—I feel very safe ordering from here as a high risk family because of the precautions they’re taking. Favorite dishes: masaman curry, parang curry, royal noodle.

Pad Thai wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was still very good. A more mild tasting pad Thai than others I’ve had. Satay chicken and cream cheese appetizer were amazing though good food fairly priced! Also employees were very sweet.

They should change it from peanut curry to peanut butter and rice. maybe jif. if they ever had real peanut curry sauce, they can say the difference when used from the regal peanut butter and actually edible. may I also give edible butter and rice. in any case on my never list again.

I thought the workers here were really nice and eating was great until I found a mistake (lost photo) scattered into one of my pad se ew nudels. I loved this Thai eating place a lot that I ordered, take it again months later after the bugfall. I was on my lunch break at work with my pad se ew and took a bite broccoli and bite into something heavy. I thought I chipped my tooth, but as soon as I spit out the brokkoli, I found a pebble/rock I bit in the half. after work I parked in front of the restaurant called the worker to show them this video of the pebbles that I found in my eating. the man didn't believe me that the kieselstein came out of my food. he also said he can give me a gift card as a refund, but no money back or refund on my card. I said I didn't want to come back after the 2 separate orders I met said, "They know I am a regular customer here often see me. I came here to show them what I found in my food with proof.” he said he cannot refund my card or give me money. he then went cordially with cash as my refund. I have not received an apology from one of the workers, even with video evidence. (the video will not be uploaded.) the knowledge of the date will not change anything, but the day I was in the kieselsteinen was October 17, 2020. I have my Thai cuisine in the night before. that was my left overs, so I got him when you were obviously open. I wouldn't lie and waste my time posting this. I had a man who only offered me a voucher or a gift card for a refund. He was nice enough to give me money because I said I won't come back. Everything I said here is true, and I didn't exaggerate or lie, but you've denied everything. it is better for both parties that I go to another Thai place and not back.
