Ossie's Fish Chips - Canterbury

First time visit during our holiday. Sadly, unlikely to be back soon, but strongly recommend, and great gluten free options. We need more chippys like this.

Haven't sat in the restaurant side for a long time, completely changed menu, the food looked well presented with good options,. I thought it would just fish and chips, but there were good alternatives to deep-fried fish. I had basic cod and chips, which was served to perfection, cooked just right, the fish was moist, not dry, the chips were golden but not dripping in oil or fat.

Excellent fish chips always freshly cooked hot , lovely friendly staff ,best place to go in tankerton .

Wow today’s fish lunch was so fresh and amazing. Caught yesterday on my plate today. Driven over an hour to get here but we will be back again soon. First class.

No cash payments allowed., the food was terrible. The owners were very rude. It wasn't open at the stated time, and tge hygiene is awful.
