Dre's Caribbean Kitchen - Canterbury

The restaurant was decent, but as Caribbean food lovers, we have experienced better. However, the plantain was delicious! The location on the pier was lovely.

I visited Dre’s with my folks during a visit to the pier with my daughter. The food was phenomenal (as usual) and I can’t wait to go again soon as Dre’s is open throughout the summer holidays. If you haven’t been before I implore you to do yourself a favour and get down there. I had the vegetarian curry, fried plantain, rice and peas, and coleslaw with some mango chutney and red pepper sauce. Absolute taste sensation, thank you Dre!

Not a style of food that I’ve much experience of but it was fabulous and made a welcome change from standard seaside fare. I had the special, tasty and great value.

This restaurant is extremely popular for a reason. You will receive a warm welcome and enjoy high-quality food. The goat, beef, and lamb curry are all delicious choices, as well as the vegetarian options. Whether you choose to dine on the pier or take the meal home, you won't be disappointed. The patties are especially superb. It's recommended to arrive early or call ahead to make a reservation. Don't take the chance of missing out on a great meal. Make sure to arrive when the restaurant opens at 12 PM or call ahead to guarantee your delicious food!

I go to herne bay quite often just to eat this food its gorgeous you get plenty and reasonably priced.
