Contribuiți la feedbackWe enjoyed a delicious family Christmas dinner at this restaurant. The food was fresh and tasty, with a variety of choices for everyone to enjoy. The cocktail drinks were also very good. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly. The prices were affordable, making it a great value. Everyone in our party enjoyed the meal and we would definitely return in the future.
We were a group of 12 family members and found the staff to be attentive and friendly. The variety of food options was great and the prices were reasonable. We especially enjoyed the freshly made naan and noodles. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this restaurant.
I used to love Chom Chom, but it seems to have lost its charm. The staff were not very welcoming and we were left waiting for 15 minutes before being acknowledged. The portion sizes have decreased and there are fewer options on the menu. There are no dessert choices other than instant ice cream. Limited options for vegetarians. Overall, the restaurant no longer offers good value for the money. I'm disappointed because I have fond memories of dining here in the past.
Firstly the staff are wonderful! Being a vegetarian there is one curry available (egg curry). There is one tofu dish with vegetables which was pleasant. Whilst there is egg fried rice, plain rice and noodles the choices for not meat are incredibly limited. The desert choices were also poor, they had cut up cheap cakes very small however there is an ice cream machine. Seeing I paid £17 was absolutely not worth it as a vegetarian. My partner had the noodle bar, which you pick what veg you want in your noodles and sauce, he enjoyed it however I declined as there was flies flying around them.
I felt robbed going here. Although the staff were welcoming, informative and fulfilled their duties tremendously, the quality of food was nowhere near the standard of the service. In almost every way imaginable corners were cut to minimise the costs but the prices were still inflated to fleece the customer charging almost £17 for their abysmal buffet and then additional £5.50 for a pint, the Cobra of which wasn't in stock so I was left to have a Stella. I chose to have an egg curry as the only meat I consume is fish and this was presented to me as one of the very limited options. If you're vegetarian or vegan then don't bother! I could taste the basic watered down seasoning of the off the shelf curry powder with little to no vegetables other than some potatoes. The hard boiled eggs which I doubt were free range were overdone to the point the insides were grey and the white was rubbery and the rest of assortments I could find looked like a cheap party buffet you'd find at kids birthday party. My friend chose to have the Korma to which he had left in its entirety. He managed to eat the beef curry but even this was not particularly pleasant for him. If the staff weren't so friendly I would've refused to pay but with the thought of this being their sole income I chose to keep the business afloat with my custom. My message to the restaurant would be to order better ingredients or charge fairly for the one's you're buying. I would like to see this place improve.
