Cafe Solo - Canterbury

Excellent café at the edge of Canterbury in Wincheap. There aren't many great spots for a good, honest breakfast around here, but this is one of them—and they're open on Sundays! Step off the road into a clean and inviting dining area. The laminated menus offer a standard selection, featuring various set breakfasts, omelettes, sandwiches, and lasagna, all at reasonable prices. The friendly waitress took my order and quickly served our tea and coffee. Our meals arrived promptly; despite a table of five ordering before us, they served us in about ten minutes. It's a wonderful place to kickstart your day!

The restaurant has a wonderful, friendly atmosphere with large and spacious tables. The staff is incredibly helpful and the place is very clean. I really enjoyed the omelette and salad—they were both excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Wow, straight ahead the staff invited us to choose a table, a high chair was immediately overhauled and it was clean (most are not). beverage orders were delivered very quickly with a delicious biscuit. we shared the solo breakfast and I had served my ice separately, as I like my tipping over. all in all a wonderfully inexpensive caffe. we will be coming back soon

Nice little spot for breakfast. Outdoor seating and parking on premises was a bonus! Staff are friendly and service was fast. Bonus is that their cappuccino was served really nice and frothy, which is hard to find these days it seems!!
