Afternoon Tea Abbots Barton

It was great apart from toast falling from the ceiling and on line it said afternoon tea for four £39,90 not £67 60 we paid

Very nice food, cake beautiful and variety of non fussy sandwiches. The pot of hot chocolate instaed by tea/coffee was great. Good social dispute. Political and polite staff.

The staff was nice, but the food was really poor the scones tasted and the cakes had no taste! The sandwiches were dry and tasted like cardboard

Some sandwiches were almost like bread and butter, as the filling was so thin. The vegan sandwiches were a green leaf and a kind of Chutney, the cake was not great. The scenes, cream and jam were beautiful and the waiter was pleasant. We had another great time, but I would not recommend this hotel for afternoon tea.
