China Express - Canonsburg

My review is more focused on the customer service aspect, as I did not receive the food I ordered. I had requested the combi plate from the owner, but instead, he turned the menu over and insisted on making me a lunch special plate. The owner came across as rude, especially considering I had already decided on my order before leaving the restaurant. It was definitely a strange and disappointing experience.

The service at this restaurant was friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and my order was ready as soon as I arrived. I would definitely recommend dining here.

I pass by this restaurant every day on my way to work. I noticed they had reduced hours due to COVID and even closed temporarily. However, one day I decided to stop by for a coffee and was instantly drawn in by the amazing aroma. I ended up staying for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The lunch was delicious, but the standout for me was the soup. It was the best hot and sour soup I've ever had. The wontons were also fantastic and tasted just as good the next day when reheated.

Very good food, reasonable prices, try lunch specials for a good value

This place is a gem! Food was great and service is friendly. A nice variety of veggies were used and they were not mushy. We eat a lot of veggies. We also got non-veggie dishes and they were just as good. We ordered from Bean Curd A LOT and had never tried this place because we usually just stick to our regular go-to places. We liked China Express even more. This is a new go-to place for us.
