Coyote's Coffee Den - Cañon City

On the way back to Denver from the Royal Gorge we had car problems and had to take off the highway. We were lucky to be Coyotes Coffee Den. They were open until 8:00. We had a delicious dinner; hot drinks, squeezed sandwich and the most delicious chili. Even a few gift shopping while we waited for our car to be dragged. The staff was very friendly and cared for us.

I was in and out of Penrose to go all my life and my favorite place when I visit is Coyote's Den. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the food is always delicious. The green chili on breakfast Burrito was not sharp, but was full of taste. The cookies in the biscuits and Gravy have been made exactly right. The terrace was beautifully filled with scarlet and gourds. It felt like the season was on us. We tried the cherry blossom ice-cold cedar, which initially sounded strange, but really was a warm autumn treat. Fun games like horses took the family before the trip home. No pictures of the food, we were too hungry, but it was delicious.

We went with my local daughter Sil because it is her favorite place for brunch. It has not disappointed!!! The cookies are the best we had and we had a lot. The sausage in the engraving has only enough heat to let the taste explode. The hashbrowns were fresh and cooked properly. I have a blueberries and it was a joy of fluffy cookies, sweet blueberries and a hint of lemon. So good!!! We'll come back when we're here!!

Unbelievable! The line on a Sunday at 10:30 will tell you that you need to know. The food is perfect, the service is friendly- even if they were lubricated, but the best part is the atmosphere. Outdoor terrace that allows dogs, tons or leaves, and fantastic decoration that you feel at home. Always coming to this great place.

Love everything about this place! Inside, outside area, the employees, the food, the APPLE PIE, just the overall feel of the place! It is a bakery, cafe, coffee shop, gift shop, and a great place to have a few drinks. Yes, they serve liquor! There is a Merchantile in the same parking lot, but it was closed the day we were there, Sunday. If you are in the area, you must go here!!!
