8 Mile Grill - Cañon City

I had a great early lunch at 8 Mile Bar and Grill. Chuck, the bartender, mixed me a delicious Ketel One Bloody Mary. I also loved the mango habanero chicken sandwich. The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous; I ended up taking half of the sandwich home because I was full after the first half. I'll definitely be back!

The food is absolutely delicious, the service is incredibly fast, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the view is breathtaking.

After a lovely hike with our dog, we were thrilled to discover that this restaurant not only welcomes dogs but even offers a doggy menu! Naturally, our furry friend enjoyed the chicken breast, which he devoured in no time. My husband and I opted for the Whiskyburger with fries and some hot wings, and both dishes were fantastic! We also shared a large Shock Top beer, which was refreshing, although we missed having orange slices as we usually do. We didn’t bother ordering any schnapps; we were just focused on the delicious food, cold beer, and the joy of seeing our dog, Shiloh, so happy. We will definitely be back!

As a vegetarian with gluten intolerance, finding suitable food can be a challenge. During our visit to Canon City, we decided to stop at this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did they offer several options that I could enjoy, but the food was also delicious! The staff was friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. It was a lovely way to unwind by the fireplace.
