Jack Caddy's Ale Bar & Bistro

Stopped by for lunch mid week. Placed our order at the counter and sat in a nice dining room already 2/3'ds full. Had the option of a free salad bar with our mains and this turned out to have a nice variety of tasty options. Drinks arrived quickly and even though our waiter was rushed off his feet the smile never left his face. Our main meals were well presented and everything was fresh, tasty and hot. A great spot for young and old with all the staff doing a great job. Fantastic value too, definitely worth a return trip.

Excellent venue for parties, social get-together or any other event or occasion. Plenty of car parking available and the food is DELICIOUS. Terrific chef's and your plate is really full. Very comprehensive menu & you can even take the menu home. Jack's place would be one of the very best for good food & excellent service. You leave there in a good mood, you have forgotten all of your troubles. The staff are brilliant. WELL DONE JACK CADDY. WE SHALL RETURN.

Went here with a friend recently after we found it on google. We were pleasantly surprised with what we found. Any main meals come with salad bar and dessert bar which was a very nice touch the salad bar comprises of basic salads cucumber, tomato, an amazing potato salad, delicious pasta salads with a pesto sauce. I could eat more of that any day. We ordered tiger prawns with steamed rice and garlic bread as starters. The tiger prawns were amazing the sauce that came with them was delicious as was the rice. Garlic bread was nice however the crust was a bit hard. Mains we ordered were pan fried fish and fries with a side of mash and the half free range chicken. The fish was a bit dry but over all was yum. The chicken was two thumbs up. Ordered the wine, a Cuppa tea and a thick shake with whip cream. Amazing. Would definitely come back here. The service was amazing very friendly and inviting. Made sure everything was good with us. Highly recommended place to go for a nice dinner.

Been here for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner a fair bit lately after the High Road closed. Always a good meal.

Ok The atmosphere was great, the staff very helpful and very polite, Though the food was extremely ordinary.
