I was here shortly before the summer break. that was delicious, although the part of the chicken was smaller than I expected. we put it on these wise a sporty chicken, more muscles than flesh. but the taste was great. The...minte tee was fragrant, sweet, hot and strong and I loved the whole experience. When I return to cannes, I will go back there. the owner is charming and her server as well. two beautiful ladies in a quiet street opposite an obstinate served delicate scented food. why the 4 stars instead of 5 ask them? huh, as I said, was small and not very fleshy, and my cousin floated in butter. delicious, but not good for the heart!
We stumbled over this hidden gem while we look for another restaurant and decided to try it. we were not disappointed! my man had the cousin with 3 meats, and I had the chicken and mandelpavilla, a new court for me. It...was a mixture of finely chopped chicken and mangle with hearty spices, wrapped in phyllo and sprinkled with powder sugar. this combination of sweet and hearty may sound strange, but it was delicious. the cousin was also very good. we enjoyed each of our desserts orange salad for me, delicately flavored with rose water, and four small homemade for my man. the women who serve us were kind, helpful and proud to eat. how they should be! we would definitely go back.
Stopped here for a meal just before the summer break. The food was delicious although the portion of chicken was smaller than I'd expected. Let's put it this way - it was an athletic chicken, more muscle than meat. But the flavor was superb. The mint tea was fragrant, sweet, hot and strong - and I loved the whole experience. As soon as I return to Cannes, I'm headed back there. The owner is charming and her server equally so. Two lovely ladies in a quiet alley opposite a fruit stand serving delicately seasoned fragrant food. What's not to like?So why the 4 stars rather than 5 you ask? Chicken as I said was small and not very meaty, and my couscous was swimming in butter. Delicious - but not good for the heart!!
We stumbled upon this hidden gem while looking for a different restaurant and decided to try it. We were t disappointed! My husband had the couscous with 3 types of meat, and I had the chicken and almond pastilla, a new dish for me. It was a mixture of finely chopped chicken and almonds with savoury spices, wrapped in phyllo and sprinkled with icing sugar. That combination of sweet and savoury may sound odd, but it was delicious. The couscous was very good too. We each enjoyed our desserts--orange salad for me, delicately flavoured with rosewater, and four small house made pastries for my husband. The women serving us were friendly, helpful, and clearly proud of their food. As they should be! We would definitely go back.
