Catherine - Cannes

The second time here in a week. scrumptious and amazing prix fixe menus offered. hubby loved fish soup and I loved flat star first visit I had entrecôte (boiled perfect) and hubby had risotto artichoke. both perfect. Cream caramel and chocolate mose for dinner. a great one. with whom it came to 70 € for both of us. really? tonight we brought his parents who arrived in cannes this evening. we had bark carpaccio, salmon carpaccio and two fish soup. raves. mains were kabeljau, risotto (I was jealous last time,) meeres fruit linguini and ravioli. seriously this is very good food and everything homemade! catherine was there. personal was friendly and service was excellent I recommend to visit them here. but remember that the name was changed to catherine.

We were served by a very friendly lady who was efficient and polite, and we found both eating here very good and cheap according to local standards. (so the damentoilette was very clean and modern not always the fall in France!

Sat there yesterday and a 3-course dinner. it tasted all very good! the service was great and the location beautiful. all good!

First visited the restaurant in 2011 and loved it , so when i had the chance to revist it with a friend I could not wait. I walked past it twice as for some reason the sign on the top awning says Catherine ...and not Modo Mio ?? it was only when we sat down and saw the menu I could not belive my luck that I had stumbled on what I was looking for. I still reccomend it and my little boy loved the pesto pasta and my fish was sublime. Check it out for sure, there are so many to shoose from on that strip but very few worth the money !!

Have walked past and ignored this restaurant many times, as nothing to make it stand out from the crowd of restaurants along this stretch. Pleasantly suprised by the quality of food and its presentation.A lady owner tells us that she has taken over this Italian...restaurant 8 months ago and has refurbished it including very smart loo! 3 courses set menu for 25 euros or plat du jour for 16 euros. I had carpaccio of very fresh salmon, leg of lamb, nicely pink, and tarte de pomme. Excellent rose wine and they do offer half bottles, all at reasonable prices. Friendly and attentive service and English spoken, if you need it. Will go back.
