Universo - Canfranc

We had passed this place on holiday a few times and decided to use it,the menu was excellent and the food was very good. When we were presented with the bill there was unexpected item on it. After several visits to the table by staff it transpired that we were being charged with water that was put on the table (which we didn 't request or touch) Another member of staff come over and claimed he asked if we wanted water and he 'thought ' we said yes (I would argue you should only put on the table what the customer requests) In the end the water was taken off the bill, we left feeling concerned in that was this a way to booster sales by always providing water then charging for it?

We had a menu (EUR 14,50) on the very nice terrasse. Good selection of dishes. We are Sorry to say that the quality of food was bad. Seems not to be freshly cooked. Deserts and wine (White) was ok. Some of the waiters were unfriendly.

We used to go there sometimes after an excursion or a ski day up in the mountains. It is well located. Up to now the had reasonable quality food at a good price. However, this is not true any more. It seems the management of the place have profoundly changed and the food is really bad. It is a pity.

La relación calidad/precio es mala. El menu de día a 26,9€ no lo vale. La comida está bien, según los platos q elijas, mi opción de Migas no fue buena xq lo único q estaba hecho era el huevo, ni las migas ni la cebolla q llevaba tenían el punto correcto. Cantidades correctas. Y no se te ocurra pedir una Pizza xq no tienen x mucho cartel de Pizzeria de la fachada. Hay una opción mucho mejor y más barata un poco más arriba de la calle.

El servicio es bueno, la tapa que nos comimos, estaba seca de todo el día, no nos gustó el ambiente
