We waited for ever to be served, received our entree 1:30 after being seated when I told our host (Mathieu he said; “I am not in the Kitchen”
We have eaten here many times over many years. It is a bonus if one can eat well in one's hotel and relax. For years the dining was simple but cleanly executed French/provencal classic, by different chefs. This year the new chef is advertised as imaginative, novel (oh... . Dishes were strange combinations of flavour, tending to the clunky, and three very different palates all found at least one dish of 2 or 3 disappointing, or worse. Waiters, wine list remain very good.
Had a few lunches here now ,food always great, service is always very professional ,can be a bit expensive, but worth it for that special treat
As we were staying at the hotel with half board this was the place to have our dinner. We found everything to be OK very friendly staff and good food. Rather good value for the total price of our stay.
If I had only had the mid day meal here that I had, I would be giving this restaurant a 1. Cold sea food raviolis I am not sure whether it was supposed to be cold) with a simply disgusting rue. Followed by a cold piece of white fish, cold rice and the disgusting rue sauce. Nut tart was tasteless and thick.Evening meal was by far better, gorgeous tomato salad and mozzarella mousse followed by lovely lamb. A decided lack of vegetables with both meal. Service was quick, efficient and pleasant. Wines overpriced. Not really the best value for money.
