Not a very well built up place. With all the hyped up crowd. Owner is a Local Goan Lady. The place has not been Renovated from long. U would find the staff in floweral t-shirts. The staff is friendly, the owner is on supervision her self.A not much of variety in the menu. I just stopped by to have a fresh lime to get over with the hangover from the last night. And thankfully I got the perfect fresh lime soda, which is a rare good in Goa. Ended up ordering a parmesan cheese salad. It was worth every penny. So my experience was all and all OHKY.Won't mind stopping by to say hi on y next visit.
Though we reached just before closing time, service was good.Food is also tasty.Quantity sufficient for 1 if very hungry, otherwise its fine.Location is also good along with ambience.
Visiting candolim with my team, we decided to have dinner somewhere close to our resort. So strolling on the wet roads in the rainy weather of Goa, we stumbled upon this little restaurant on the main road. Since we were a group of 20 people, we had to inform the owner before hand about our food preferences. <br/ <br/ The restaurant has that typical shack feel with some light pop music playing in the background and some or the other sports channel playing on the screen. We ordered wholesome amount of veg and non-veg food, however this restaurant specialises in sea food. Rava pomphret, pork chilly, chicken cafreal, prawn biriyani, goan fish curry were all above average as it didn't stand out as far as taste was concerned. Fish peri-peri and chicken vindaloo was just exquisite. Probably one of the most genuine peri-peri tastes I had in a long time. And this being my fourth visit to Goa, this was the best chicken vindaloo I had. It was a perfect amalgamation of tomato and red chilli with tender chicken. Service was bit of an issue, probably because of the number of people getting served. <br/ <br/ Have to mention that the staff was very welcoming and the owner offered us a complimentary fish peri-peri. Also, he ordered pizza on special demand. <br/ <br/ Taste : 3/5<br/ Service : 3.5/5<br/ Ambience : 3.5/5<br/ Value for money : 4/5
A decent place to eat overall. Average ambience (quite airy though). However, If compared to other restaurants in candolim area then highly recommended. The only place near candolim beach where we got served with decently tasting North Indian food as well. Really nice hospitality, specially if u get to meet the owner who is a generous n humble person. In short, a must try if you are near candolim beach
