Mr. Gory - Cancún

Rebecca and Gory are stand up people. Honest, welcoming, and no BS. I stayed in the area a couple of times. They treated me like family. Can't say enough good things. Open up and be human. They'll take you in.

I noticed this place across the street from my hotel when I hit the Oxxo for drinks. It was full of locals. I asked for something custom off the menu (tocino chopped up and scrambled with the eggs). This place saved me. I needed healthy, tasty food. The rice and beans were excellent. Low on decor but I don't care about looks. If there are a ton of locals/workers hanging around I know that's where I'm going. Thanks for saving me when I was desperate for a tasty and simple meal. Inexpensive.

This little gem is right across from our hotel and we went there because of Trip Advisor's good reviews. It is very small but exceeded our expectations! The family (mom, dad, daughter) who owns the restaurant are very friendly and aim to please! It is a joy to eat their delicious foods and smoothie drinks. We ate breakfast one day and lunch another day and the food and service were excellent both times. We enjoyed sitting outside. We don't know how they can keep their prices so low or why more people don't patronize the place. Fresh, Mexican dishes served with a smile. Highly recommend. Be aware they close by 5:00 many days. As with most restaurants here, the menu requires a QR reader on your phone to view it.

This is a cute family owned business and the food is great. It’s a simple and limited menu, but if you want something, talk to them, if they can make it for you, they will. For sure, try the smoked pork chop. Even though it’s in the lunch menu, try it with a fried egg for breakfast for a real treat. The staff will remember you if you visit more than once and they are all great. We sometimes carry out a bowl of their soup to eat later when we have breakfast. Sometimes the wait for a coffee, especially a second cup, is too long, but it’s because everyone is busy getting the day set up.

I literally ate here everyday that i stayed in Cancun, which was for four days. They are very nice people and super welcoming. The food is awesome. I hope that i can come back to Cancun because I'm definitely coming here again
