Jesus, Chef Carlos, Manager Rafael, Waiter Made our dinners so special and very entertaining! Jesus prepared a special lobster entree for us on our last night too! Rafael, provided drink recommendations like Jalisco (so refreshing! and their desserts are fun to watch them prepare! Carlos, made sure our experience was fun and personally came out to thank us for coming!

Victor is the best server! he was efficient, had excellent recommendations and we never had to ask for filling. also the manager marco is excellent. we're coming back. eating is delicious! try the mezcal soufflé and they will not be disappointed.

First time here and experience was great!! came here for a bachelorette party and our waiter was wonderful!!! shout out to Ivan! if you come here be sure to get him!

Maria Marie is an upscale Mexican restaurant within the Hyatt Zilara. The menu features both familiar as well as unfamiliar Mexican dishes, all served by a helpful, attentive staff. The only flaw was consistent attempts by waiters to have you order special dishes, without letting...you know that that were surcharges. One night a couple who had just checked-in sat at the table next to ours. When the woman wanted a glass of Pinot Grigio, she was immediately given an iPad listing expensive bottles of wine, including Pinot Grigio that carried surcharges. She ordered a bottle and when the waiters left, I told her that although they didn't carry Pinot Grigio, they also serve a range of other white wines for no additional charge. She immediately canceled her order for an unnecessary bottle of wine. That night and the next, we were offered specials the waiter neglecting to mention that these steaks and lobster carried surcharges up to $80 per person. We were aware of this manipulation and ordered from the menu. This is a very deceitful, dishonest, manipulative practice. When I complained to a concierge in the lobby, it was clearly that he notified the restaurant and the third night we were there, they stopped trying to jack up a bill. It's a great place to eat, but be careful.

We had a dinner on our last night of visit and enjoyed the high quality of food and amazing service by personnel. The food was delicious, we had lamb chop and chef Alexis surprised us with world class grilled lobster. The personnel were very helpful...and provided high quality service .. big shout out to everyone specially Sergio who helped us with appetizers, salads and soup selection .. also thanks to Memo, Rigo Berto and Wilson You are an awesome team!
