Hidden Garden Restaurant - Cancún

Ate here for dinner while staying at the Live Aqua. It does not take reservations, which is nice since when we're on vacay, we don't like schedules. We didn't have to wait. This restaurant is open air, but men don't have to wear long pants, which was nice for my husband! It's only open for dinner. I had the fish which was topped with a mango salsa. It was delicious! My husband had a beef dish which he really liked. I can't remember what we had as appetizers, but I do remember it was good! We didn't have any desserts as they were kinda odd! This place is hidden in the trees in the middle of the resort!

Hidden Garden, is one of the most uniquely designed romantic restaurants I’ve eaten at. Carlos was such an attentive server and the food was amazing.

This restaurant is gorgeous! The food was great and ambiance is one of a kind. I will definitely miss this restaurant! 5 stars across the board

We cannot say enough good things about the ambiance at Hidden Garden. At dusk and after sunset, it is magical. It is also kind of dark, so you might need your cell phone flashlight to read the menu. But we loved the feeling of being enclosed in the trees and the lovely water fountain near where we were seated. The service was very good here as well. We never had to ask for anything. The food is Asian/Indian, but don't expect it to be authentic. However, what we ordered was very good. We had the duck and satay appetizers - we favored the satay, but both were delicious. We also had the orange chicken and tikka masala. The tikka masala could have used more rice - there was only a small dish of it - but the flavor of the chicken and the accompanying spicy sauce was delicious. The portion was generous too. We did not care for any of the desert selections, but the before-dinner drink was probably our favorite drink of the entire trip. We tried to have the pool bar replicate it later, but they couldn't. Overall a wonderful dinner.

This is definitely a hidden gem inside Live Aqua. Ale is the manager and she is a sweetheart and the best manager. German is the numero uno waiter, who is very attentive. I will definitely eat here again before we go home. Try the Thao chicken it's delicious. Thank you Ale and Numero Uno German. And don't forget to say hi to Don Julio the cat.
