Zambrero Civic - Canberra

The restaurant had limited seating. It looked to be overdue for re-painting. The burrito was too large to handle easily, and not especially tasty. It might have been better presented as separate ingredients on a large plate.

Went to Zambrero for lunch today. Asked for a bowl with no rice or beans. I asked for avocado and cheese was told that would be an extra When I said but I didn't want rice or beans the answer was bad luck. Won't...be going back if that is how you are treated.

After trying Zambrero in Adelaide, I have been hooked ever since. Zambrero provides quick and friendly service and an easy to follow, healthy menu. With an aim to combat world hunger through selling Mexican food, what's not to love? Zambrero is hands down my favourite...fast food restaurant in Australia.

My mate and I chose Zambrero for an early lunch on a Thursday. We both chose a Classic Chikito with white rice, chicken, cheese, sour cream, tomato corn salsa, cos lettuce garlic sauce. The food is tasty, fresh and made-to-order. The female staff...member who served us was super friendly and efficient. Furthermore, Zambrero's Plate Plate program is such a great idea. I love the concept of an enterprise committed to tackling world hunger. The whole experience was extremely positive. I would definitely recommend it.

I've been here twice, the first time was very disappointing (I was starving and the person in front of me got a way more generous serving then I did The second time was a bit better. I only get a burrito bowl and because I...couldn't have the rice or beans I felt like they went a bit stingy on everything else haha. But other than that it's yum, quick and easy.
