First review for Tilley's? Really? Tilleys is a landmark in Canberra. High quality food beer wine, excellent service and unique...
Eating was really good. I had the whistle with chili and maize. the restaurant was busy and the service was somewhat slow, but that is expected. it was a little expensive, but it was worth eating. overall I had a good time, will be back.
Great spot for breakfast in the sun, a lazy Sunday afternoon lunch, or a late night tipple. The food is generous, tasty but don't expect fine dining more like pub meals, but generally don't disappoint. The coffee is pretty variable, but if you stick to the basics it's usually fine. The cakes are divine... highly recommended to drop in even if just for a dessert :
Ate here a couple of times during a short stay in Canberra and really liked it. Plenty of options to choose from, prices are reasonable, food is excellent. I had eggs Florentine one morning with a pot of tea no complaints. Well cooked and delicious Hollandaise sauce. I also tried the homemade baked beans with a side of hash browns. Baked beans were filling and flavourful. Came with bread and butter. Hash browns came in a bowl of six bite sized. Staff are nice, old school relaxing music gives a nice vibe.
