Taj Mahal - Canberra

We found this lovely little restaurant whilst on the hunt for another. We were so glad we decided to go in. Wonderful curry and local wine. The service was exceptional and friendly. We will go again.

This is a great place with great food and service every time. Have never been disappointed, although generally I think that meet dishes are better than vegetarian options. Go back often and would warmly recommend :)

On a recent trip to Canberra for business I couldn't believe this restaurant was still here. I used to have dinner here about 23 years ago and I was so excited to eat there again. I loved it! They looked after me so well, which is great as I was travelling by myself. I had the butter chicken (medium) which was so delicious and not too sweet. It really is a nice place to eat. I was even offered a complimentary night cap as a 'welcome back' to the restaurant, which was lovely and very appreciated on a cold night!

Had the vegetable vindaloo and my brother has the butter chicken, both were delicious. Price of curry includes rice which made the whole meal great value. Exceptional service and nice decor, this hidden gem is definitely worth checking out!
