They were Roast Duck Soldier or Soft Shell Crab Soldier. At $4.50 each they weren't cheap. Went with the roast duck one and it was tasty.
I have been going to Rolld for a while, and the food was always great, but for the last two times I've been there, I have been really disappointed. The food has had an awful smell, the beef from the beef Uncle Pho was raw, and the soup has been oily and greasy. I was really unhappy with the customer service; the man ignored me and kept interrupting me. I will not be going back to Rolld, as I was unhappy with all aspects of my experience.
Not bad overall, definitely nowhere near as authentic as some of the other Vietnamese options in Canberra, I guess that's what you should expect with a huge franchise. The banh mi wasn't terrible, but compared to some of the other rolls that I've tried I'd say try another joint for your Vietnamese fix!
Paid $9.50 for a pork and crackling Bahn Mi. No crackling, and consisted largely of cheap grated carrot. I was particularly disappointed because I had been waiting to find a good Banh Mi in Canberra, but it seems the wait will go on. I don't mind paying well if the product is good, but I do expect to get what I paid for. Don't bother. I won't again
I came by last week and had a rice paper roll .It was amazing and filling.Especially the tofu and stuffed rice with garlic chilly oil. I would come again to have some more in coming days.
