Family lunch at the weekend. Both hubby and I ordered food that was honestly tasteless and had no real flavour. Reminded me of the meals served in aged care homes where the budget doesn't allow for tasty food which is not difficult to do cheaply. Very disappointed. Won't be returning.

The bathrooms were disgusting. It was difficult to use the facilities comfortably with the unpleasant surroundings.

The restaurant offers good value and has a typical pub menu. The chicken schnitzel was perfect and freshly cooked at the right temperature, not pre-cooked. The atmosphere was definitely like a pub, with a cozy feeling that made it seem like the customers were local residents rather than hotel guests.

We had drinks here and watched the footy then had dinner on Sunday night. Good atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Good wines by the glass. I had steak n mushroom sauce was very good and cooked to perfection, hubby had seafood risotto which was very tasty and full of seafood. Cheesy garlic bread was good too. We also visited again on our second night, happy hour is 5-6pm Mon-Fri with $5 drinks. Monday night is curry night $15, hubby had Massaman beef curry which he enjoyed. Butter Chicken was also available. I had chicken snitty with gravy, quite tasty and large meal. Meals reasonably priced and promptly served.
