Lonsdale St. Eatery - Canberra

It can be confusing to have two lonsdale street roasters on the same street. This one is further up, closer to Braddon.Ordered a pork belly benedict. It was tasty. The ambience is chilled. Chilled as in a relaxed vibe, not graveyard death chill vibe.Anyway I digress. The service was good, order at counter. Overall enjoyed my meal

Visited for weekend breakfast, many people , mostly young couples but others as well.Weekend breakfast seems to be a popular time.Coffee was good to above average, food was generous servings for price, they have a different take on the usual breakfast staples. Yes they have eggs, avo, bacon , eggs benny etc - but put their own twist or style to it. Wasn't what we expected of the food , but was ok.Would go back for coffee and/or try lunch menu.Inside and outside seating , exposed kitchen , industrial shabby look.Staff friendly, food and coffee served quickly, temperature was good/acceptable for both.

Was an awesome cafe when it opened. Coffee was one of the best in Canberra and food was good. Since then it has gone down hill, the coffee is overly milky and the food is very mediocre.

Great variety for breakfast from the basics of toast and muesli to full on eggs, salmon etc. Bacon and Egg roll was delicious with a really good relish, coffee was good enough to buy the beans to bring home! Won't disappoint.

We stopped for breakfast a couple days ago and were amazed about how quick the food was ready. It seriously took longer to decided what to order. I had to look around, and yes the place was mostly full - just efficient I guess. Fortunately the food was great as well. My wife thought the coffee was excellent, we will certainly return next time we come to Canberra.
