Golden Drum Chinese Restaurant

That is the place where we eat before we visit a concert in the street theatre, now where most other restaurants in this are closed against their doors. eating is delicious and served immediately. the service is so, but sufficient. prices can be a little high for some people, but we are happy with them. the honey king prawns has too much honey, but the spicy pig was great.

Best Chinese I ever had. many thanks for a delicious food. this is the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. why? because qualitatiw fresh ingredients were used to make an exceptionally tasty meal and friendly staff make it even more pleasant

I have received from the golden drum on our last stay in canberra. food quality was excellent. the price was on the high end given the portion size, but the taste and quality was more than compensated. excellent meal. happy to recommend.

The food at this Chinese restaurant is some of the best I have eaten for a long time. The squid was fresh and tasty and the honey chicken was excellent. I especially liked the string beans which were dry and crunchy. We were in Canberra...for a week and ate here twice because the food was so tasty the first time. Both times the majority of customers in the restaurant were Chinese, I presume students at the ANU. They know good Chinese food when it is served to them! The service was excellent also. Attentive but discreet. Finally, the wine was surprisingly cheap for a restaurant and made it unnecessary to byo. Definitely recommended.
