Charcoal Restaurant - Canberra

Wow. Dinner with friends. The Tornedos Béarnaise were a plump pair of perfectly grilled eyes steaks with the sauce only thick and clogged enough. I tried my best to make it as long as possible, but in the end they were gone. A real restaurant in Canberra that reflects the heritage of the city.

The ducks were great. My main reef and beef thing was just great. The young waitress was very professional. Washed down with some Wynns Coonawarra Cab Sav. Fantastic. Thank you for a great night. Always a high standard here. We hope you're back. If you are, we will.

Really good service and the food was fantastic. Steak was perfect!

One of the best steaks I've had. Medium rare 350g Scotch Fillet with Dianne sauce . Great wine selection and very attentive wait staff. Has that premium cosy modern Australian restaurant feel.
