Onatah Cafe - Canajoharie

Stoped in for a coffee and visit. The place looks great. Wonderful work assisting folks in need.

This place has been closed for about two weeks. We yelped it while on the road and were intrigued by the pics and reviews. Info needs to be updated.

This is the second time my wife and I have eaten here. Both times were great. The ingredients in the salads are fresh and the service fast and friendly. The lunch crowd is local people that know each other and seem to enjoy each other's company. The building is old but has been restored with some nice touches that add to the local flavor. This time I had the vegetable panini filled with tomato, onion, lettuce and artichoke slices. It was cooked to perfection with the vegetables retaining their crispness. The restaurant is located on the Main Street with easy access from the interstate.

Closed down... apparently for good. Too bad, as it sounds like it was a good cafe. There's a traditional diner across the street that's quite good for breakfast.

Local, fresh, quality! Great food in a charming environment. Chef Heidi is very accommodating.
