The Lefse House - Camrose

Cozy lunch place. Good food but small :) good service. Different items available to try and baked goods.

Great food and service. They can't seem to do enough for you, the staff is so attentive. Portions are large so I ordered the smaller portion which was still a verygenerous serving. As the weather was hot, they could have used a couple of fansas they don't appear to have air conditioning.

I come here occasionally to pick up some lefse and cinnamon buns for my wife. She is Norwegian and it lights her up everytime I bring it back. It's also especially tasty! ;)

Unfortunately, they ran out of cinnamon buns (a Friday special) before I arrived. Instead, I settled for their homemade lemon danish. Not only is it enormous in size and weighing close to a kilogram, but it was also surprisingly delicious. Starting from the perimeter towards the center begins with a flakey pleasant taste followed by more puffy and soft texture. At last, arriving upon the filling is an explosion of flavour. The lemon filling was very pleasant and not overwhelmingly sweet with a mild tart taste. Overall, I would recommend trying their baked goods as the Gingersnap Cookies are also an excellent choice.
