Village Cafe

A very nice and cozy cafe good for having a cuppa coffee by the fireplace and read a book. Came here for a quick brekkie and had scrambled egg with coffee and OJ. Everything was yummy but the OJ was the best. Maybe because we can in the season for oranges but it was the sweetest oj i have ever had in my life! :

While walking through the area, we stumbled upon Village Cafe and stopped for a freshly squeezed juice and catch up. The restaurant is quaint, with a pretty outside eating area, perfect for a summers day. We both ordered the Apple, pineapple and mint juice. It arrived promptly and it was delicious but definitely not as cold as I would like it. I would return for one of their delicious looking pastries or a smoked salmon salad, that looked delicious.

A breakfast venue I will frequent for weekends to come. Great vibe. Great service. Menu excllent. Always fresh juices and fresh pastries. Nothing is to much effort.

They serve an awesome good old bacon and eggs. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Only disappointment was the coffee. Service was good and friendly. Reasonably priced and good value.

I a spoilt brat as I get to stay in De Waterkant every time I travel to Cape Town once a month for a week . The Village Cafe is the so quaint 5 steps from my door freshly juiced juice every morning and omelettes to die for !! My secret is no longer safe our CEO has fallen in love with the Village too .....as long as they juice my ginger , carrot and apple juice I will share can't wait to be back next week !!
