She sure knows how to run a place and how to prep delicious meals for the hungry. My favourite 514 chicken cashew with rice noodles... Or a tofu dish mmmm
Love, love, love their stir fries and consistency with every meal you order. Sometimes I try something new or a little spicier, but generally I go for my favourites. <br/ <br/ Taud Man Khao Phod or the sweet corn fritters are undeniable irresistible and I 'simply ' must have them every time. The sweet dipping sauce runs down my hand and drips on my chin as I take a bit. Gooey heaven!<br/ <br/ Today I had the 519. Kyew Teow Kua. Chicken with carrots, bean sprouts, spring onion, egg and fried garlic with yellow noodles with sweet soya sauce. Delicious from first bite to last!
Well I have been begging my partner to try the Sushi at Simply Asia for about a Year!<br/ He was super reluctant as he travels for work has had Sushi all over the world. <br/ Well let me tell you, last week Saturday his mind was blown! He had never had sushi taste as fresh light as that before. The type of rice used is like no other Sushi serving restaurant he had seen. <br/ The Tempura Prawns, Dragon Rolls, Fashion Sandwiches Rainbows Rolls were phenomenal. <br/ It was a lovely experience and we will most definitely be back! <br/
We went to Simply Asia Greenpoint for their lunch time sushi special, half price from 12 6pm. They were so quick with our order abd the sushi was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly too.<br/ <br/ The normal prices could end up in quite a pricey bill as far as sushi goes, but very affordable with the special. The choice of sushi is vast and ranges from the usual maki, fashion sandwiches etc. to the more unique tiger rolls and wasabi parcels mmm!
My first time trying Simply Asia was everything I imagined and a little more. I'm not sure which meal I chose as my friend chose for me. However this little box of goodness consisted of cashew nuts, onions, peppers, juicy beef strips and Thai noodles drenched in a soy kind of sauce. Every ingredient complemented one another. Outstanding? Not really. But it was indeed worth the cost and effort. It's a takeaway I thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely choose it over the typical Capetonian takeaways. Side note: dribble a little extra soy sauce for some extra goodness. I tried the mild version but I do think after considering all the ingredients that a spicier version would be much better.
