Santa Ana Spur

A friend of mine decided to have a casual birthday dinner here. The views are great it's especially lovely at night because you get to see the lights from the wheel and the harbour from the restaurant! We were a big group and so ordered a range of dishes amongst ourselves from steaks to ribs and burgers and more. My cheddarmelt burger was good it's definitely a Spur classic!<br/ <br/

I've been to this spur many times and strangely assumed I already wrote a review on zomato. I've had great experiences at this spur, I think it may be the view and it being the waterfront that just makes it. I recently tried the new item on the menu; cheesy steak baguette. It was horrible. The sweet onions are overwhelming and completely disguises the flavour of both the steak and the cheese, making it a sweet onion baguette. It was appalling. My cousin had the chilli con carne nachos, I've never liked nachos so that wasn't great for me either. The chocolate milkshake was good though, a spur classic they can't get wrong.

Amazing service by Wendy our waitress, probably the best service I've had during my 3 weeks in Cape Town. Best cheddar melt burger, and waffle for dessert
