We had lunch in this restaurant which is set in one of the back streets of this lovely little town, not far from a beautiful park/garden with benches, fountains, a small lake and a resident swan. The building was an old Adega (wine building) with brick arches to the ceiling. It was clean and the owner was pleasant. I had a traditional Portuguese dish of pork pieces in a bowl with pickled vegetables and chips and my husband had slices of turkey (very tender) and chips. We shared a plate of salad. The wine was very good value at 1.85€ for a half litre of house red and it was very pleasant. We had half portions which were plenty, and a sweet each at 1.50. The total bill was 17.35€ without coffee or bread. We will certainly visit this restaurant when we are next in the area.
