Kyūbi Modern Asian Dining

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, but the prices felt a bit high for food that was fairly average compared to other establishments. We opted for the $60 tasting menu per person, and I appreciate that they accommodated our dietary restrictions by removing one of the dishes. That was a nice touch. However, the duck was tough and rubbery, making it difficult for me to enjoy. On the other hand, the beautifully prepared vegetables were delicious, and the lamb was flavorful, although it could have been a bit cleaner. The dessert was just okay; lemon and chocolate don't really complement each other well. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I'm not sure I would go back.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. The food is incredible, and the staff is lovely. I will definitely be coming back whenever I get the chance. I didn't expect such a high standard in a club, and I was completely taken by surprise!

Please be cautious about relying on the Google business hours for this restaurant. It's best to call ahead to confirm if they’re open. I wanted to dine there for a special birthday dinner, but they seemed to be rarely open. We drove all the way there on a Wednesday night, expecting them to be open, only to find that the restaurant was closed. There was no indication if this was a temporary closure or something permanent, which left us quite disappointed. We ended up going to Makimoto at Macarthur Square instead, where we found they were open and had excellent food and drinks. I can understand being closed on a Monday or Tuesday night, but it’s confusing to be closed on a Wednesday.

Excellent ambiente. incomparable toilets in western sydney. unobtrusive staff that is unprotected by a maître de that can model a good customer service. whiskey old fashioned drinks were a sweat. the tasting menu ordered. they were not able to teach eating courses drinks refreshment (not that they are for drinks refreshment is a feature of customer service here.) bland food not asian fusion. funny enough the chicken wings (2 pieces per person) were excellent. these young do not know what okra can at all. were the chefs depending on eastwood, cabramatta or even chinatown? Don't worry, it's a complete disappointment. they are eager to go for us so I think we're going now!

Absolutely terrible from beginning to end. we ordered three cooks tasting menus and they were disgusting to say the least. after the first two cures, we were left for half an hour, then served nothing less than shells of rice and chicken wings. will never return
