Be My Guest - Campbellford

5 adults for early supper. 5 different centres, good sized portion. Average presentation. Well known for their breakfast. Family type rest, somewhat dated ďecor. Needs to be refurbished. Service was excellent.

After the customary visit to Doohers, which I have previously reviewed, we found ourselves here. The decor was pleasant as were the staff.The menu was what I have come to accept as standard Canadian fare. Wholesome food and plenty of it..and good value for money. I opted for the Veggie omelette with potatoes and toast. My companion, as always, chose bacon with various add-ons....It was served swiftly, piping hot with the requested pot of tea.I would have no qualms in recommending this establishment.

We picked up Guests at Espanola and drove over six hours to experience this Campbellford Restaurant. The Staff was pleasant and kept the restaurant open for our group of 10 past normal closing time. The food was very good and inexpensive. It was a very pleasant visit.

Ordered chicken sandwich and when it came it was so dried up from overcooking and I could not even chew it properly. When I was almost done the server asked how it was and my friend mentioned mine was terribly overcooked and dried out. She offered to get a new one, but I declined as we were not interested in anything else from them. Had a brownie for dessert and it was the worst one I ever ate. Stuck to the roof of my mouth like peanit butter does. Save your money and don't go.

They don't clean up after tables, good luck getting the bill to your table, the food was great and filling however the service was far from impeccable! Patrons have to clean off tables and then they don't even wipe the table down! Not cool!
