On returning from Agrigento for a Sunday commission, we decide with my wife to go to lunch on the Sicano territory, which we partly knew. In the surroundings of Monte Cammarata we had already been there for many mountain excursions. This time the goal was a lunch in farmhouse with delights that only this territory can offer. To finish the menu proposals.. cheeses and meats with flavors of the past... pasta with boar ragù and sublime pig... Finally the kindness of the owner and daughter made us feel at home!!! We will definitely return... and we recommend to all lovers of wild and rural life!! !

A lovely place for those seeking silence, peace and reconciliation. From this it follows, logically, that Masseria is not easily reachable, there is a stretch of almost 2 km a little bumpy, so it is recommended to get prepared with suitable machines. We managed quietly with a utility and rain, but this also depends on the driver's skill. If you want to reach uncontaminated places, you must make some compromise.
