O Frade - Caminha

I was really looking forward to dinner here after all reviews, it was special occasion. I'm late Middle Ages, so sitting on a bar stool with knees pressed against the counter, so I didn't slip off was not a good start.... Meals are cooked in the kitchen and then handed over to the bar staff to decorate. When I started 20 plastic boxes, similar to a sandwich shop was not my idea of an experience! The menu is very limited, we both decided for the duck and rice, which like a very gloopy risotto, beautiful taste, but... The wine list was good, staff friendly but not really a place for someone of my age

Visited O Frade for dinner in September 2021. This is a Portuguese restaurant with a creative modern twist. Casual atmosphere and good wine selection. I chose Bib Gourmand 3-course menu option. Appetizer was rabbit, main was beans and squid, and traditional Portuguese sweet. The price was reasonable and the food was amazing. Very recommended.

Comida abundante y de calidad.Las almejas, los mejillones y la francesinha de lo mejorcito que he probado todo, super recomendable.
