La Cantina Del Marchese - CAMEROTA

Three days in Marina di Camerota. Three dinners at Cantina del Marchese! I posted a review of this restaurant in 2016 when we first fell in love with it and I 'm happy to report that it hasn 't lost any quality and just as delicious as I remember those many years ago. I don 't want to repeat myself but everything I wrote still stands. Simply put, this is the best restaurant in the world ! There, I said it and proud to. It would be quite difficult to find a restaurant more traditional yet vibrant, more delicious yet simple, more humble yet stands out from the crowd. I 've been studying, living and working in Italy on and off since 1987 and have never encountered such amazing and unique food. It 's a cuisine that 's so special. Sometimes Greek, sometimes Italian, sometimes just like nothing else you could ever imagine. Service is unstoppably wonderful. The family who runs this place do it so well and so kind. We always bring back some dried sausages or some souvenirs to remember our times here. Can you imagine 3 dinners in a row, one night after the other and always delicious and mesmerizing! That says a lot about a restaurant. I am my spouse often dream about the food here. Wines. It 's just great! Thanks so much. We 'll see you again! Steven

Nice restaurant with typical Cilento ambience. The food is very very good, typical local dishes, good choice, good price. Service is quick and waiters are kind. Unfortunately very few tables outside in the street, but the interior is really nice

Interesting rustic place, they serve very tipical dishes from Cilento totally new even to Italians from other areas. We liked the maracucciata (not sure about the spelling) a sort of dark polenta with small pieces of fried bread inside served with chick peas and onions slightly spicy. All the dishes have lot of pulses and potatoes in them. Worth trying not expensive.

Typical turquoise cuisine with homemade dishes and ingredients at zero kilometer. delicious maracucciata, with characteristic legumes and cultivated almost exclusively of the area of camerota and surroundings.

Parking in squares about fifty meters. sometimes with problems. characteristic, clean, very kind staff. great service. excellent land cuisine with dishes of excellence. wine from the famous house. price contained in relation to the quality of food.
