Broad Street Lunch Bsl - Camden

Hubs I tried. We were together a few times in Jamaica, so we were absolutely excited to find a place like this so close to us! They had my favorite soda of all time (Ting, and the owner asked if we ever had oxtail (we had not! and they let us try. It was SO GOOD that I ordered it for my meal, and my husband got the Ruck chicken plate. The travel beans (which for my southern friends essentially red beans rice were so good, and the plantains were the star of the meal. My husband's chicken was also fantastic and the right amount of spice. I loved everything, and for just a few minutes, hubs I were back in Jamaica. Really wonderful little place, and I am so excited to return to this place.

Very recommend the Jamaican chicken plate. It was so good. Very well seasoned and the chicken was juicy and falling from the bone. The rice and the sweet curtains are also a must! I'm sure I'm back.

Large combination of the BSL menu from the past with a mix of Jamaica. My food was delicious. Small town cafe feel with a friendly staff.

Amazing little spot we discovered while in the area on business. Saw the older menu online and went in for the renowned burger plates but were pleasantly surprised to find a new eclectic menu featuring favorites from days gone by PLUS several Jamaican dishes. Had the curry chicken with fried plantains and it was amazing! Can't say enough about this place. The owner came out and personally greeted us to see if we were enjoying her cooking. Great food, great music, even imported Jamaican sodas... In Camden, SC? Can't wait to come back
