Contribuiți la feedbackI go to the Union in every Feijoada Samba since it started and always loved everything. I worked for 14 years in the same industry and have experience enough to say that the manager yesterday (5th Sep) shouldn't be working with customers. I would have asked her name but the only time that I had to speak with her, she was unpleasant enough, so didn't want to talk to her again. She has a horrible attitude toward customers, very rude and speaking with people with scorn. It's a shame that such an amazing event have someone like her as a manager and I hope she won't be in the next one, as me and my friends didn't feel welcome at all and actually not willing to come back if she is around. I saw her talking not just with customers but with the staff with rudness. Anyway, just want to thank the amazing chef as his Feijoada it's always delicious and he is such a great guy; and the amazing samba group. If wasn't for them, the night wouldn't have been worth it.
Great place for food and hanging out with family and friends.. friendly staff.. good food.. Will definitely visit again.. must try the burger and sweet potato wedges
We were in need of a quick meal before our visit to the Diorama theatre across the street, so we decided to dine at the Union once again. The restaurant was bustling with Dentsu Aegis staff at 6pm, leaving us with an hour to unwind. Fortunately, we were able to secure a booth seat. We ordered the chicken taco for £10, beef nachos for £13, and a bottle of house red wine, all of which were delicious and generously portioned. The meal was great value for the price. The staff provided excellent service with a smile. Thank you once again for a wonderful dining experience.
The food was good and the staff were friendly. The portion sizes of some of the dishes were a little on the smaller side, but the presentation was good and the staff made us feel welcome.
I had a pleasant evening at The Union. The food was decent, although the calamari was a bit greasy. The drinks were reasonably priced for central London, with cocktails costing £8, which is reasonable considering the location. There was a DJ later in the evening, making it a great spot for a night out with friends. The menu had a great selection of starters, mains, and sharing plates. We initially had to order our food at the bar as there were no servers around, which was a bit frustrating, but the staff were very friendly once they were available. The bar staff were also friendly, although we had to remind them about the Prosecco shot that came with the Pornstar Martini I ordered, hence the lower rating for the bar service. The contactless payment didn't work on the card machines a few times and the staff took a few minutes to make the drinks, even though the bar wasn't too busy at the time. Overall, a nice evening with a few minor hiccups.
