Pizza Rustica - Camden

Warm welcome and they managed to fit us in to their packed restaurant. Neapolitan pizza was fantastic, olives to keep us going we're insanely garlicky and yet lovely. nice bottle of red to boot. If only I lived closer!

Since Franco Manca went down the pan in terms of quality and service, we find ourselves back at this place. It more expensive, but it's reliable. One of the places we have visited for as long as we can remember. Not necessarily the best pizza of all time, but definitely the best in Richmond.

Visiting Richmond (UK) and walking out the Train Station, we find this Pizzeria. As it was time for dinner we decided to step in. The venture has a small main seating room just upfront of the counter and second slightly bigger room upstairs. The Pizza and the pasta were surprisingly very good and so was the attention. As it was my first pizza experience in the UK, I was a bit sceptic about. Later on, I find the owners and operators were Italians. If I return to Richmond I know now where to go for pizza and pastas.

I had lunch here on my way to the Tower of London. I felt it was a great price for the value and for the service and for the location. I had a side salad and tortelloni filled with cheese and portobello mushroom. I was a little shocked that the restaurant was not busier than it was being so close to a major attraction and lunch time. Not sure why that was. Also the toilets that were in the basement were quite adequate and not busy at all. Again odd since close to major attractions. Definitely come again!

I love the place, food and embiance. Staff is always been very friendly. The food is always delicious. Space is limited but worth the wait. O Neil's is just besides if the resturant is full. After spending the noon by the river side, Lunch in Rustica and then train home. Perfect way to spend a day in Richmond.
