Ippudo Ramen - Camden

As a huge fan of Ippudo, I inquired if I could substitute tofu for pork in my dish. I had gotten a tummy ache the last time I had pork, but I believe it was due to my sensitive stomach rather than the quality of the pork. The restaurant informed me that I could have the spicy pork ramen without the pork, but there would be an additional charge for the tofu. I questioned their decision-making process and received their response. There are many amazing Pho and Ramen options in London.

I recently visited a Japanese restaurant for the first time and was unable to make a reservation. We had to wait for a table to become available, but we were fortunate to only wait for 10 minutes. It was definitely worth the wait - I'm now wondering why I waited so long to try Japanese food. I particularly enjoyed the pork dumplings, crispy chicken, and chicken parcels. The service was also good.

This London restaurant is a fantastic spot for authentic Japanese ramen. The service is efficient and friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it.

I love Ippudo! I have visited the one in New York and Paris and the one in London many times and the food levels is always the same. I can recommend their bar buns, the one with pork and the vegetarian one are amazing. You can't book a table so try and show up and see if they have room. Nice staff and the food comes quick.

Finding the entrance was a bit tough.... When we went inside, we have been ignored for a good 5 to 10 minutes. Off to a weird start, not gonna lie. Then someone acknowledged our presence but left to tell us to give her a second. After another 10 minutes another waiter came and we got seated. The menu was a bit restraining with the choices available, we thought there would be more options (only pork based or vegetarian). Service was quick and efficient, the tables were extremely close to each other (we heard our neighbours conversation completely). It was nice to be able to pick the firmness of our ramens and it was respected. The ingredients were fresh and savoury (special mention for the mushrooms which usually aren't). Prices are correct..
