Very friendly personell. Fantastic lineup of beers, a true infependent pub. Food is well presented and hot, as a bonus it is nice : Highly recommended

The gipsy has a killer selection of guest beers they have had a boozy slushy machine with cocktails when the sun comes out. Grab one and sit in the very chilled out beer garden. It's definitely one of north London's hidden gem pubs.

I don't know where to begin. Let's start at the end... everyone said it was the best and most enjoyable wedding they had ever attended. And that was largely thanks to the amazing staff at The Gipsy Queen. About 7 weeks before my daughter's wedding, the original venue for the reception closed due to Covid. After searching for a new location, they found The Gipsy Queen, which turned out to be a blessing. The staff, from the events manager Reuben to the hardworking Connor, and the talented chefs Seb and Pip, were all incredible to work with. They listened to every request made by the couple and put together the perfect night. They even learned how to make some Canadian dishes, like the best butter tarts ever. The venue itself was beautiful, especially with the outdoor space. The natural light during "golden hour" made for fantastic photos, and the AV equipment was a nice touch for our slideshow during speeches. The upstairs room was ideal for any event, with a bar and outdoor access. The meal they prepared was outstanding, truly 5-star quality. They even included special appetizers and late-night snacks to honor both families' heritages. I cannot recommend this venue and its staff enough. Thank you for making my daughter and her husband's special day absolutely perfect.

We were looking forward to a delicious roast, but unfortunately, the potatoes were old and mushy. The chicken was tasty, but the beef was tough. However, the Pinot noir was excellent and the kids enjoyed the desserts. We dined in the cold and uninviting upstairs dining room, which felt cavernous and dreary. The food was served on cold plates and became congealed before we could finish. I believe that if the restaurant was busier, the experience might have been better. It felt like a bit of a disappointing cycle. Additionally, we had to clean our own table. I think giving three stars is being generous.

Excellent venue. Good range of ale, superb Sunday roast. Friendly bar staff. Brilliant upstairs room, which was perfect for our quizzing needs.
