I’m shocked by some of the previous reviews. This is a lovely family run cafe with a kind of genuine hospitality that you simply don’t get elsewhere. The owners are wonderful people and really looked after me and my son. There is no rush at...all (I stayed for hours) and you can just sit with a cup of tea if you wanted to. The food is good and the cakes are delicious. And they cater well for vegetarians and even have soya milk. It’s like visiting your aunties for tea and cake and is a special place to just get out of the craziness of the world and to sit and chill for a while as you watch the world go by! I will certainly be back.

Best sausages sandwiches in Hampstead heath and very well priced. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We've been coming here on and off for years.. their food is all good but the veg English breakfast is really good.. we have tried veg breakfasts at many other places but this really is the best. Every component is well-cooked.. and I especially love...the mushrooms. Try it! Lovely staff too.

I often go here for a pot of tea but today stopped by for a simple lunch with my daughter. I had poached eggs on brown toast both just right and lovely bread and my daughter had the aubergine dip with pitta bread....The dip was hot and nicely spiced, much more interesting than expected. We've also had delicious welsh rarebit before and great omelettes. Such reasonable prices for good food. Long may it continue.

Had a great walk on Hampstead Heath. Was a little hungry, and found this little place. Friendly service from the owner. Ordered a pasta and garlic bread. Was given a complimentary salad. Good food. Recommended
