My wife and me were there during January 2018. Tiny, cozy place (about a dozen seats), informal atmosphere, clean. Interesting flavors from center-western Africa (Nigeria in particular): we tried fish and chicken with mixed vegetables and sauce, both very good and tasy. Friendly owner, prices are ok.
I had the jerk chicken, oxtail stew, jollof rice with goat curry, all cooked perfectly tender. The mango flan for dessert was fantastic, not overly sweet. The service was exceptional, with a very caring owner who truly loves feeding people. Highly recommend eating here. We even received a complimentary extra dessert after our meal!
This is my second visit here and far more disappointing. The reason is the waiter/owner was grumpy and when I asked for a takeaway box for the moyin moyin he actually scowled! Wow. The moyin moyin is quite flavourful but the jollof rice is a real disappointment. I’ve had far better in Ghana.
The food tasted great and was full of flavours. Unfortunately they were too small for the price £8-£9 each). I paid £31 in total, I personally don’t think it’s worth the price. Not exactly a place where you should go if you are hungry and just want to eat everything but trying to save some cash. The staff were really nice and friendly, but I dont think Im going back.
