Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

Swiss Chalet has a good BBQ chicken dinner at a fair price. Unfortunately, the guests that come to enjoy the meal sometimes forget their manners. Loud kids that run around and adults that think they are outside provide a cafeteria atmosphere. If that is your style, the SC is a good deal.

I love Swiss Chalet and the food. If you want a good experience avoid the Swiss Chalet that Is located on Dundas St. in Cambridge Ontario. Horrible service!! Food takes forever to come out no matter if it's busy or not !! Very lazy staff !!

Was there on Saturday evening and restaurant wasn't that busy but told there is a back up in the kitchen and our food would take 40 minutes to come out to our table. We agreed to still dine in and would put our order in right away but we had to wait 5 minutes for a waitress to visit our table. The reason I visit swiss chalet is because it is usually a quick meal and have never had this problem at any other location. Our food took about 50 minutes to come to our table and when it got there we still did not have any cutlery. Not sure how we could sit there for almost an hour and not have any cutlery brought to us. We had to go to the hostess to get some. Spinach salad was just a bag of spinach with a few pieces of chicken on top. Definitely the plainest, saddest looking salad I have ever seen. Stay way from this location.

This is consistently good for family and friends to get together. The service is usually quick. Although I didn't appreciate that our appetizers arrived with the meal. And the waitress brought the bill while we were still eating. The food was delicious as usual.

With daughter and grand daughter visiting sisters in law and brother in law having lunch. Server was good but kitchen messed up one order. Restaurant clean but their presentation of food is quick and uninspired.The company needs to focus on this like years ago or they will lose customers. Cost okay but would rather pay more for better care.
