Langdon Hall Country House - Cambridge

I just sung here, food is overrated. I appreciate that it's fine food, but it's not filling in at all. Only best for those who are on a diet and not too hungry. As for their rooms, hmmm should be the charm of rustic and old attraction, but not creaky old. Try it again.

Very disappointing. Try to celebrate a special day at Langdon Hall. We sat outside and it was a beautiful day. Our sommelier was excellent. The King Salmon (red color and flavor) a few months ago ate in Langdon Hall we ordered it again together with a starter. The starters were great. We asked the waiter for another piece of bread before we received our ducks. The waiter then disappeared (this happened several times and it was not busy). Entries were taken from another server to our table, but I had to point out that we were not cutlery. Another server brought us cutlery. What both disappointed us is that we ordered King Salmon from the menu, but what we received was regular salmon. It was very good, but not King Salmon! I recommended the original server we were disappointed because it wasn't King Salmon. He came back and told us he asked the cook and was assured that it bred King Salmon Farm in New Zealand. How sad that Langdon Hall misrepresents her fish as King Lachs when it is clearly farm-grown ordinary salmon, but they charge a premium price. If I had known it was salmon regularly, I would have ordered something else. After letting the original server know that we were disappointed, he gave me the bill and left. No manager came over nothing to ensure that this does not happen again to another customer. Dining Manager was polite and professional, but don't write anything other than my complaint. The so-called director came along later and said and did nothing. The battle to recognize all restaurants keep face employees etc. we all overlook small things. But that was a look at a Chateaux Relais. Today Langdon Hall did not live the standards of a Chateaux Relais, not with food or service. Wouldn't go back.

This place is fabulous, with beautiful delicious food room: 5 service: 5 location: 5.

For Valentine's Day. The dishes and cocktails were amazing! Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5.

Fantastic location near Cambridge ON. The relais et château is true to his name and reputation with excellent service, amenities and experience. The property is beautiful and well taken care of and the rooms are beautifully decorated and charming. We really enjoyed our stay.
