I stopped by on a whim while traveling from Hamilton back to Taranaki and had a wonderful experience. The coffee was excellent, the food was good, and the service was exceptional—it really went above and beyond. A special thanks to the team on August 1st for taking such great care of us and ensuring that I wasn’t locked out of the restroom!

This is the friendliest and most cheerful café I've ever visited. The staff are consistently smiling and eager to go the extra mile to help you with your order or preferences. The café is always clean, and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Great service and delicious food! This place has become a regular stop for us cyclists, especially in the cozy courtyard out back. I've noticed a significant improvement in the speed of food and coffee delivery, which is fantastic. I also appreciate the daily brown paper specials – they add a nice variety. The front counter staff are more upbeat, which enhances the experience. I've updated my review to reflect the positive changes from our recent visits.

Stopped by to have lunch with a friend, she had Chicken quiche I had Potato ham Stack..both served with a beautiful fresh salad dressing. Pot of tea to finish the meal. Should have photographed it as was so lovely.Service was excellent. Well worth stopping in on a journey....well priced. 5stars well deserved

Love Robert Harris! Food and coffee is consistently excellent for a reasonable price. The staff will accommodate requests with a smile, and/or modifications eg one meal, shared between 2 picky eaters!
